Our History

Greenscapes Land Care, LLC began in 2010 as a sole proprietor with one crew focusing on mowing and small landscape projects. In 2016, irrigation and lighting were added to the Greenscapes line up of services. Having grown to a full-service land care company offering design, build and maintenance, turf and lawn care, irrigation, lighting, and snow removal to residential and commercial clients, Greenscapes moved to the Worton/Kennedyvlle area in early 2017.  In 2018, Greenscapes was awarded the Community Service Award from the Kent County Chamber of Commerce. During the peak season, Greenscapes has a team of 25+ including office and crew team members.

Casey Hurd, Managing Member

Casey began working in landscaping at the age of 14. Due to his experiences and love for it, he attended and graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Turf and Landscape Management in 2008. He worked a commercial landscape company for 2 years before starting Greenscapes Land Care, LLC, in spring 2010. In 2019, Casey received the National Young Entrepreneur of the year. Casey has been a Landscape Industry Certified Manager since February 2018.
